WATER THERAPY
The water therapy can be applied not only to clear out the body but at times of extreme tension or when you are feeling too much heat in your body as well.
How is the water therapy done?
1. Early in the morning, just after you wake up (even before you brush your teeth), drink 1.5 litres of water. This makes around 5-6 glasses of water. Sages of India have termed this therapy “Usha Paana Chikitsa”. You should wash your face and sit for meditation afterwards.
2. The important thing is to avoid eating or drinking anything 1 hour before and after the therapy.
3. You can use boiled or filter water if necessary.
Is it possible to drink 1.5 litres of water in one go?
It might feel difficult at the initial stages but you will get used to it in time. You could practice by drinking four glasses at first and 2 more glasses after a 2 minute interval. You might feel the need to use the bathroom 2-3 times in an hour when you first start the therapy. However, this will go back to normal soon.
How does water help?
Water purifies the body when taken in a correct way. It shapes fresh new blood and makes the colons more effective. This is known as Haematopaises in medical science. The mucousal muscles of the colons and the intestines are activated. According to theory, the fresh new blood is produced by the mocousal layer. If the colon is cleansed, all the nutritional ingredients consumed in the following days are absorbed. They are then transformed into fresh blood with the movement of the mocousal colons. It is a very effective method in curing blood diseases and in protecting health. The only thing needed is to consume water regularly. The benefits of this method can be proven with a determined trial.
